Welcome Back - Guitar

Hello Everyone!

Hope everyone is well and practicing lots! Good thing guitars are portable.

All of your teachers so far have been busy learning Teams and other online platforms that will hopefully make it engaging to help you learn, myself included. Please stay tuned both here and on TEAMS (if you haven't logged on yet, now might be a good time to try) for further instructions.

If you do not have a guitar at home or left yours at school, plans are being made for you to retrieve your stuff. A survey will be sent out shortly. In the mean time if you are bored, check out the following links!

https://learningmusic.ableton.com/ - knowing how music is put together can take your music to the next level. Explore musical concepts using industry standard software Ableton Live's virtual interface.

https://www.fender.com/play - lessons from Fender! 3 months free for this current situation

https://www.justinguitar.com/ - this guy is pretty good too.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f4NOJ42-BKM - learn about some famous guitar solos - and try them?

https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL1B627337ED6F55F0 - NPR (national Public Radio) - tiny desk concerts. Stripped back concerts from some of the biggest names.

Hope that helps! Take Care!

Ms. Lo
