Fine Arts Night Success

Good job everyone who participated on Fine Arts Night! Here are some pictures.

Concert Band - Term 2 scales

Due: February 19th

CONCERT: C, G, D, A, E, B, F#, C#,

Bb Instruments: D, A, E, B, F#, C#, G#, D#

Eb Instruments: A, E, B, F#, C#, G#, D#, G#

F Instruments: G, D, A, E, B, F#, C#, A#

Instructions:

1) Practice your scales at the required tempo.

Decide if you want to go backwards or forwards though the list. (Some are harder...)

2) Set up your video recording - please use a metronome and close your eyes.

3) Record. IF there's a slight mistake in one, you can just play it again but try to do this too many times.

4) SUBMIT your recording:

USB, cloud link, email. Please RENAME your file using the following format " 2020-02-19 first name last name Term 2 Scale "

This should take only about 3 minutes.

Please note which level you are at - this is not exactly the same as the bands. You are always welcome to try a harder level. If you would like to use an easier level, please ask Ms. Lo.

Marks will be given for correct notes, sound, flow, articulation

Eighth notes = 72, slur every 4 notes together.
