The Day of Music is a FREE event featuring over 100 musical performances, workshops and activities taking place across three venues: the Orpheum Theatre, The VSO School of Music, the Annex Theatre, and the Tom Lee Music Experience Centre. No tickets or registration required – just bring yourself and your friends for an amazing day of live performances. The Final performance of the night is ticketed - but if you sign up for the VSO access pass, it is only $15 per ticket.

2) BRASS FEST - https://music.ubc.ca/brassfest/ JAN 27

This event features the Dash Duo, a trumpet duo, as well as the UBC brass faculty. Go for an amazing day of learning about brass instruments. There's also a marketplace where you can try out some new instruments or pick up some music. At the end of the day, all of the participants play together. Students are $20 for the day and $30 for General Admission.
